I don't get why the Pascal nuthuggers on here like Phlippa are using this as some sort of justification for the hometown decision in Quebec last night?

Let's not forget, Suckalips is Hopkins' prison *****. The fight against Tarver was the very last fight in which Hopkins did not look like an old man (though some may point to the Pavlik fight as well). Hopkins whooped that ass hard, and gave Tarver no respect post fight.

It is not surprising that the milk dud will harbor some bad feelings for Hopkins and let that influence his scoring of the fight.

Of course he did. They showed a replay of his fight with Hopkins and he has a good reason to dislike Hopkins.:patsch

Al thought Tarver feels Hopkins won the fight as he did but Tarver said he feels Pascal won it.

i dont give a flying **** is Tarver thought pascal won it. Hopkins won that fight clearly. Tell me what rounds could possibly have gone Pascals way. EVEN if you give him the first 4 rounds, theres no way he won any round from 5-12.

"though some may point to the Pavlik fight as well"...Did you see the Pavlik fight? Did anyone think he looked like an old man in that fight? Anyone?

He certainly did not look like prime BHop.

How many punches per round did he throw? He confounded Pavlik with his ring generalship alone, that does not mean he wasn't an old man in there.

**** Tarver. He was being biased in his commentary throughout. He is just hating cos BHOP tore him a new arsehole and slapped him around the ring.

Can't think of any middle weight fights where he did a lot better. I would say he has been as good p4p at his weight age as he ever was. You forget he drew with a not too great fighter when he was on the road at middle weight as well. Then you have to take in account all the rounds he dropped to a lot of mediocore fighters as well. You mention that he used his ring generalship vs. Pavlik but forget he was not as good with that when he was younger. Apart from power and maybe stamina he has not lost ground in any department and improved his boxing IQ.

Tarver praised Hopkins throughout the fight. And the 8th and 12th rounds I scored it for Pascal, as a lot of people did. With the first round a 10-9 IMO, I have Pascal ahead 114-113

If you're gonna give Pascal a 10-9 for the first round then 10-9 for the third is even more appropriate given Hopkins dominated it.

I had it the same as Tarver, 112-114 Pascal. Tarver was rooting for Hopkins.

Agreed. This is obvious, Tarver's scores is irrelevant. I mean the guy got a beat the **** up against Hops, I don't dislike Tarver but no way am I using his score as indication of anything.

How about the fact that Lou Dibella who has sued Hopkins before and it is common knowledge he is not a Bhop fan agreed Hopkins got robbed and scored the bout 115-111.
