Tarver starts Danny Green trash talk

Tarver doesn't deserve to do the trash talking

. . . he has a very poor showing in his last few fights.

 

I like Green. He isn't the best, but he is a nice fella, and a good honest toiler in the ring.

Tarver was slightly better in their respective primes - neither of them are anywhere near their best though. I predict that Tarver will do enough in almost all rounds that he should win a clear decision, something like 9 rounds to 3.

However, I think he may get jobbed by the judges. I don't think Green is dirty, I don't think that Australian judges are dirty. I just have a feeling that this is what is going to happen...

 

Tarver's only chance is to trash talk, this guy has been old for a while now, if he had managed his money correctly he wouldn't be boxing anyways. He's a nice guy it seems but his best days are waaaaaay behind him now.

 

Never was the same after that Hopkins beatdown.

Tarver in his prime was a very good fighter . Too bad his reign at the top ended very quickly.

Hes mostly referred as a One Hit wonder.

 

Tarver is one of the best talkers in the game, I want to see him do well against Green.

 

I laughed when on a Showtime broadcast a while back he said that Green was digging up fighters from the grave.

Tarver was more impressive against Aguilera than Green was against Flores.

 

This fight is at cruiser, so tarver can come in at an extremely confy
weight. Heavy didn't look good for him, and he can't make 175 anymore.
However, he can weigh-in at around 190 for this contest, and give himself
the mobility and power he needs to affect green. I like tarver to win on
points, unless green really puts on ALOT of pressure using his snappy jab.
Tarver will look for spots and be throwing the uppercut to the body and head as green is open for it. At the end though, i can't help but pick AT
on pts. 116-112 in Oz.

 

Tarver will hopefull get his mouth shut properly. He is full of crap. Not bad in his day but that is some time ago now, although Green is well past his best too.
Green KO 5 or 6.
