But a combination of both dietary supplements (none of which contain a banned substance) and exercise, can result in a positive nandrolone test.

    WOW.

Better testing needs to be mandated. Especially at the ****ing championship level. This is such BS

You are getting to be a real ******* hear. A fighter making $500 a month on a local card needs to shell out $100K for year around testing? You call me a troll. You are fool.

No but I do think that when top 10 ranked fighters of the same division fight there should be thorough testing involved. At that level these guys can easily afford it.

You haven't seen what the purses in the lower weight classes are then. Not all these guys are making a million a fight. Some less than $100K for a title fight.

Anything but thorough testing right? You co-sign Montoya because he's going after PBF but really don't give a damn about thorough testing in the sport. The fact is testing is much cheaper now. If you make $100K you can afford VADA testing.

    Straight from Mr. Montoya apparently..

    http://www.doghouseboxing.com/Gabriel/Montoya0505a12.htm

--VADA charges somewhere between $10,000 and $20,000 per fight vs. USADA's rumored $90-$100,000 per fight which is for both fighters.--

$10,000-$20,000 is wayyyy less than $100,000. If price matters they can use VADA, I think people will still be just as satisfied.

so who are these fighters that are fighting for $500 and have to pay 100K?....to my knowledge most of the fighters that have recently got caught are not making $500 a fight to fight on local cards...enlighten me sir:huh

I've also read that just extreme physical exercise alone can produce the larger-than-"max" amounts, without the addition of any dietary elements. :conf

Needless to say, nandrolone testing in sports is an imperfect and ambiguous endeavor at best.

Really? Wait....who busted Tarver then? Because Quillin and Winky Wright's random tests distributed by the USADA were just thrown out. So, if Tarver was caught by the USADA then that seems weird.
