after watching the sparring from last 2 vids that have been posted on here of tarver, I dont think he'll give green much trouble maybe for the first 2-3 rounds...most of is sparring has been him countering of the front foot working in in the 1-2-3.. the counter uppercut is nice, but he isnt commited to throwing more than 2-3 punch combos- might be his game plan but greens work rate will win in the end ....interesting to see how tarver goes the distance with someone who ups the tempo.. result... green UD... green late ko......my money bet is green UD

either way this is the best card we have seen in a while, well worth the $50

    I have watched the vids

I have also seen him spar when there have been no cameras

a vastly different Antonio sparring when there are no cameras.

this is going to be a beauty

a very embarrasing moment for me

i had been talking with this guy on Sat Sun and monday at the gym

he was helping with the training of tarver

really nice bloke and a lot of fun with heaps of jokes

I asked one of the other guys who is he

    he told me

Thats Buddy Mcgirt. i felt like a right dickhead

Buddy was punching on with all these little kids the other night they would have been 7 or 8 and he had then throwing punches he was blocking then patting them on the head.

the kids then came back with some more

It was so funny to watch and great to see hima nd Antonuio really realte to all the people at the gym

Sounds like there's quite a bit of cat and mouse going on in the Tarver camp. They obviously want Green to think Tarver is slow & over the hill.

In the old days you could get away with this kind of deception. But these days it's impossible to keep anything secret.

He is old and over the hill as his last 3 fights illustrate. Still beat Green though.:yep

Its hard to pick 42 yr olds but green isnt a spring chicken...he's not far off 40 himself. Something i had overlooked.

I was kinda wondering if this was the case, he didn't look right in the video he posted. Surely it was posted as some sort of trap for the Green camp? ;)

Haha good story mate Buddy was a great fighter and Antonio a few years ago was too. Nice to see them getting along with some of the locals they both seem to be pretty down to earth blokes. Was just interesting to me that he brought Buddy down seems to be taking this fight seriously.
