Tarver vs Jones 1----how did you have it?

It wasnt a robbery as Jones did win the fight on the cards.

 

7-5 Roy, I could see 8-4 too...Roy didn't look too good at all, but I though he won the fight

 

Funny that in this fight Roy was weight drained and took double the flush shots from Tarver and still manged to win win 7 rds to 4 ..Not bad for a glass chin fighter ..

 

gotta say just watched the 12th round again and roy showed heart for the first and perhaps only time in his career

 

This was only because he was drained imo .But he showed tremendous resolve in this fight ..

same here, I was tight watchin that fight b/c that night Roy had his speed, reflexes, footwork all back. And he hit Antonio at will. But he was to gun shy. If you watch the 5th round over he did hurt Tarver. The 1st time in all the fights when Roy actually fought Tarver off of him when he was on the rops, If you watch that part. you will see that Tarver was hurt. His knee buckled when he fell into the ropes. at that moment in time Tarver was hurt. Roy backed off of him for what reason I dont know.
About the 1st fight I cant remember xactly how it went b/c I havent seen it ina while. But I did think If i remembered right that I ahd Roy winning by like 2 or 3 rounds
