Yes he does, but I wish he would knock Tarver the **** out.

Jeff Lacy is the worst managed fighter in boxing.

There are much better matches out there than a southpaw who is naturally bigger than him.

he needs confidence, why is he being rushed in with awkward boxers. Miranda, Andrade even Sakio Bika would be a better option than Antonio Tarver.

Tarver beats him if you ask me.

This is what i dont get.Jeff never makes any excuses and he seems like a genuine nice guy.It would be a dam shame to see his career go to waste because of mismanagement. He has a style that is limited and right now he could do with a break.Even if he beat up a few cans in his next 5 bouts he really needs this to get him back on track. Not dumped in the deep end vs Tarver who CAN punch, is a southpaw to boot, and bigger than him.

At 175lbs Lacey will be even slower and more plodding than he was for Manfredo Jr. All he tries to do now is look for the knockout punch.

My main thought is that the loser has nowhere to go. I think this is a bad fight for Lacy. Tarver takes this one over 12 non eventful rounds.

Tarver barely throws any punches..and Lacy is still in recovery from his JC experiance. I wont be going out of my way to see this one.

I guess you all have not noticed how bad tarver looked in his last fight! It was terrible! But i have to honest i was verry disapointed about lacys performance against Manfredo also. That was really not the lacy of old. That was the worst Lacy i have ever seen. The Calzaghe loss and the serious shoulder injury after that against Tsypko seem to have taken much out of him. But he still looked better than Tarver did IMO, and to me hes the slight favourite. But i would not be shocked if Lacy loses. But if he can get better as he was last time he will take the win.
