    If you go by the responses in the thread, you'd think it was unanimous that he can't beat a single heavyweight.

    I've already given my reasons for thinking he could work his way to a decision over Arreola.

    Someone man up and state your case. Let's start with those who picked Klitschko and Chambers. Remember, it's a public poll - you can be called out individually. :yep

    He has a better chance against the former crusierweights Haye and Adamek, but in all honestly he does not have a good chance against any of those fighters.

    Hold on, who has he fought at HW?

    An old Golota-He KOed him like he should have.

    Jason Estrada-Who has never been knocked out in 200 amateur fights and 20 pro bouts. He has a good chin.

    Arreola-He is known for his great chin and heart.

    Give him a chance against Grant who is a huge HW that is chinny. This will be the first guy since Golota that Adamek is expected to KO.

    Tarver is old has been out of it for a while and decides to go to a weight class where he will be naturally smaller and way shorter then some guys he is also 40 or older not exactly in his prime

    that said I voted he has a chance vs Adamek a guy with less pop and size

    Chambers not the greatest out there

    Dimitrenko has been beat before

    Valuev would be funny

    Haye wins

    Vitali butchers him

    Areolla probably wins but Tarver may be avle to counter like Adamek did

    No, there shouldn't be. You're exactly right - if you think he loses, you simply don't vote. It's not about numbers, it's about putting your name out there. Leaving your name off is a statement just as much as voting is. Those who do vote have their names listed publicly, and the onus is on them to be called upon to explain why. Obviously most people are going to be skeptical of Tarver's chances at HW period, let alone the Ring top 10, and for good reason. A none of the above option is unnecessary. Like you said, if you think he doesn't beat any of the top ten, don't vote for any of them.

    Besides, the way VBulletin is set up you can only include ten poll options. I wasn't going to have it be the Ring "Top 9" just so I could squeeze in whad would wind up being the landslide choice as the obvious majority is going to think the answer is "Zero".

    Enjoying being the IBF/WBO/Ring champion - which is why his name isn't in the Ring Top Ten, or in the poll. The question is "can Tarver beat any of the obstacles standing between him and his holy grail of a W. Klitschko fight?"

    His best chance to me is to move alot get vitali to use those old broken down legs of his but then again I think Tarver is older than vitali

    I feel the only way to beat Vitali right now is defensivley run aoivd throw few punches

    Like how Haye beat Valuev just stay away from the guy sure its a ***** move but how many guys can really stand in there with a big strong iron chinnned hi volume punching guy like Vitali

    you can only make him look old by making him move and put him in scenarios he doesnt wanna be in
