Tarver wants Wlad, better than a Mormeck fight?

I havent heard his name mentioned, but Im not involved with that end of KMG/K2..... I just get the word and start to organize training camp, sparring partners and food once the deal is set

I would prefer Tarver just because he's a class dude and I would like to see him cash out

 

Tarver should beat a legit HW first

 

I dont think that is the problem at all with these Fights.
They were not good enough to challenge Wlad to begin with...

 

It's not THE problem, but it's a compounding problem and a bit of a nail in the coffin. It makes them terrible matches, instead of just really really really bad ones.

 

Neither contest is exactly the stuff of legend. But Tarver talks the talk and I think he could probably do okay.

 

Why Tarver is better, simplified:

Tarver could survive until the final bell. Probably wouldn't, but could.

Mormeck could not, and shall not.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. Tarver might even win a round. Mormeck will look hopeless and get knocked out quickly.

 

Agreed with much of what you wrote. However I'll have to look for your other post on 10 worse challengers since the 1990's (hope ur not considering Tim Tomashek or whatever his name was that came out of the crowd to fight tommy the duke who i think had a belt). Tarver has no hw experience, is not even a top dog at CW or LHW, and is 42 so I'd have a hard time believing he's not one of the very worst challengers on paper. Mormeck on paper is probably a more worthy challenger than tarver cuz at least he has 2 wins at hw over fffffrrrrriiiinnnggee guys and a somewhat recent title history at the next lower weight (cw). But when you throw in his age it's gotta at least be a close call as to whether he's in the bottom 10 recent challengers. If you're talking h2h and imagining how mormeck and tarver would do vs some of the bad challengers, I'd still have a hard time imagining 10 worse (tho i'd take tarver over mormeck) in the last 15 or so years
