    Good news for those who got worried when the Dawson camp said Tarver would have big problems making weight.

    "There will be no excuses; we're ready", Tarver says:

    Just cuz he will make weight doesn't mean he will win,those riumors were made by Dawson to get into Tarver's head.

    Tarver is very underrated imo. Not a great fighter but a very good one with a very interesitng story.

    tarver is hated arround here because he beat roy jones jr. So I can in some understand the jones fans still holding a grudge. But he really seems to be a decent guy and I think he has a good chance if he can lure Chad into a brawl.

    I think Chad will be too much for him but it should make for an interesting fight.

    Thanks for sharing, was looking for any Tarver interview regarding this fight.

    Love Tarver interviews, he's usually realistic and just keeps it safe, even his trash talking is fun to watch sometimes not when it's to RJJ though. :yep

    Think it's safe to say that Calzaghe will either fight the winner of Tarver/Dawson or Hopkins/Pavlik(only if Pavlik wins) next. I would personally love to see Calzaghe fight Tarver if he beats Dawson and the fight will make sense especially if Calzaghe beats RJJ and goes on to beat the man that gave RJJ his first real loss.
