I can see this fight going either way. Clinton is a very mental fighter I think and if Tarver can shake his confidence and still has something left he can win. But Clintons confidence has grown since he won the IBF and if he can stay focused I see a Wood's UD.

Woods has come on in leaps and bounds since he won the IBF title. He has absolutely surprised me.He does nothing special but he ALWAYS comes in shape. His got a great chin good stamina a decent dig and works every round.Im leaning towards a Woods UD as Tarver can be very lazy and lacksidiasical. His not half as good as he thinks he is.

Im really surprised this fight is happening. Nice to see.

Tarver has looked shitty his last two times out. That doesn't bode well here.

Hard one to pick but I like Woods by decision. I just don't thin Tarver has much left.

Antonio Tarver looked pathetic against B-Hop, if he shows up against Woods with that attitude he gets stopped. Woods had 3 wars with Glen Johnson, no matter what you think of the result, they were all close fights all 3 of them. He's a quality fighter.

Crazy as it may sound, I think Woods may get the stoppage here. It won't be his power, but I can see Tarver bowing out as he gets outworked and smacked around over the course of a long fight.

He's looked ready to be KOd in both the Jones III and Hopkins fights, but no one has thrown enough punches to do him in. I think Clinton might.

Which is why he has avoided Dawson. I hope Woods beats him, Dawson takes care of his next couple of foes, and we see a unification. Woods would fight Dawson.

Woods out works him. Tarver is lazy and hardly throws punches. Woods out-hustles him all night.

This is the thing. Tarver needs to be ready to go to war, 12 rounds, non-stop if wants to beat Woods. Johnson brought fire and brimstone and massive workrate with him 3 times when he fought woods and woods matched him every single fight, well apart from the 2nd.

Woods has a iron chin, experience, heart, quick hands and a great jab. He put Glen Johnson down in their first fight, which is pretty impressive coz Johnson is a machine. He obliterated Rico Hoye. He showed a few good moments against Gonzalez and I dont think he's finished yet.

Woods - Calzaghe is one of the best fights in boxing, because a) woods has better workrate than Hopkins and b) isnt as hopelessly shot as RJ.

Exactly. My hope is that Woods and Dawson connect late this year, which would be an action fight and a stern test for Chad.

Also, the winner of that bout would become a legitimate contender to become one of Calzaghe's final opponents in a huge payday.

I agree about Woods/Calzaghe being a good scrap. I far prefer this bout to Hopkins/Calzaghe, but business is business. At any rate, I hope Clinton gets a fight with Joe or at least the unification with Dawson/Johnson/Diaconu.

He certainly does. But it takes more than a haymaker or 1 punch to KO Woods.Woods has excellent stamina and can win this in the later rounds. Tarver is conservative has horrible stamina and is a front runner.
