    He faced criminals before and robbed them I doubt he fears Dawson it's just a money thing. Dawson is very talented but doesn't bring enough money for Hopkins. Then again how much is enough to Hopkins?:think

    I can tell you from my own personal information that Bernard Hopkins was the one who made this fight happen. If Hopkins didnt push for it forget it. HBO didnt want the fight at all. Cheap ass even put up some of his own money for it. Hopkins wanted it very badly. The fight with Green was never ever a reality. Both guys are heavily banking on PPV revenues to get paid, and thats the truth

    For your Info, I will not subscribe to this event this weekend...... I taped the first encounter off regular HBO back in 1993....... I thought that bout was a sleeper..... No thrills or chills occurred in 1993 at RFK....

    Since the summer of 2008, I have only PPV'd:

    "Cotto-Margarito"
    "Holy-Valuev"
    "Packy-Hatton"
    "Haye-Valuev"

    Four fights.... I am cracking down on all this over-priced PPV jazz sponsored by greedy *******s looking to make a buck off some sucker...... I at ONE TIME bought into just about all the **** that flew into town, but, now with the state of the nation in an economic sense, I refuse to give in to temptation....

    I dont think hes afraid of Dawson, but I think he knows his limitations. Hes a pretty smart dude, and Dawson represents everything he was when he was coming into his own, but bigger! Believe me hes speculating with this Jones fight more than he would by taking a sure thing payday against Dawson. Thats the fight HBO wanted.

    I agree Hops is too old for Chadwick Dawson here in '10.............. Dawson just too young and spry for the 45 year old legend.........

    Dawson would KILL Royal Jones in 2010......... A sad mismatch there.......

    Tony Tarver is doing just fine calling the shots with Albert Bernstein on Showtime...... Be smart, stay there Tarver..........

    Is Roy Jones really having $$$ problems like "Hearns and Holy" are dealing with here in 2010???

    Why are boxers / fighters SO STUPID and have NO CLUE how to handle, secure and even invest money into projects' that will enable them to obtain financial security for them rainy yrs like 2010 has been raining bullets down on the common citizen.....??

    Partially correct there......... I give you some info about that.... TRUTH too.......... The weed and ***** jazz keeps me distracted and I will not do a PPV....... I'll do porn instead... No ****............ BUT! That goddamn Jim Beam or Jack Daniels talks funny things into my ears and, I have picked up the phone and made the call to cable TV cuz of them two *******s.......     Most are suckered into **** investments like nightclubs, record labels, and various other proven losers. It does boggle the mind that a guy thats managed to make 50 or so million cant stick 20 away and live off the interest. They find themselves with a bunch of depreciating ****, that they're forced to get rid of for pennies on the dollar.
    Living large comes with a lot of expenses. It takes big money to maintain that lifestyle, even when shits paid for the upkeep can kill you.

    Dawson beats Hops in '10.... EASY decision........... Dawson too peaked...

    Taylor was green but motivated against Hops in 2005......... Taylor fought the fights of his life in them bouts...... He was still innocent then..... Not polluted like he is now in 2010.......

    Jones will always put money to the table because of his name and his former glory. Dawson still needs to make a name out of himself and not fight Thomas Hearns. He seems to be around the age group Dawson prefers his fighters to be:rofl
