Tuesday at Rangsit International Stadium. Airing live on True4U. WBC Asian Boxing Council bantamweight Silver title at stake, third defense of Salapat. Now, you might look at their records and dismiss the 16-17 fighter as hopeless versus the 62-1 fighter - but here's the fact of the matter: Salapat's record is trash. Numerically, hey, great five dozen victories, but there's nothing of any substance there. His is even more heavily padded than most ranked Thai's dubs column, which is saying a lot. He has faced exactly one opponent worth a damn - Takume Inoue, three years ago, losing a wide UD. Juntarasuk has faced much stiffer competition, although he always loses against the best he faces and is more often than not stopped. Bottom line, not a shock if Salapat dominates but, also not a shock if he gets upset as he is yet to ever prove himself truly top tier Thailand domestic level (which his peers sometimes do by facing respected Japanese and Filipino journeymen, something Salapt has pointedly ducked doing, racking up his entire career besides Inoue knocking over stiffs, be they countrymen or hapless Indonesians flown in to get blown over).
Your selling Freshmart a bit short here. Obviously Inoue was his only good opponent, but Freshmart is OPBF level at worst and he will give Sithsaithong his 11th KO loss.
He did stop Chaiwat "Kongfah Nakornluang" Buatkrathok (yet another Thai with a uselessly padded record) faster than Reymart Gaballo did, so yeah, I think Salapat by stoppage is the likeliest result here. I'll be stoked if a guy with a losing record like Juntarusuk ends up being a banana peel for somebody with such an empty and inflated record, though - love when that happens.
Tasana will win...hes at OPBF level as stated... the other fighter is not... would like to see him fight Srisaket for a tune up.. I think Srisaket has lost a step and would still win, but he needs a good fight prior to his rematch with Cuadras and Tasana will not win a title ever in my opinion
