The Thai Tasana Salapat 31 years old "Petch CP Freshmart" 77-2-0 (54 KOs) former WBC Asian Bantamweight champion & former WBC World Bantamweight challenger will be against the Chinese Yanjie Zhang 25 years old 5-1-0 (4KOs) ranked number 5 by the WBC Asian and number 67th in the world in Bantamweight division.

The fight will be for the vacant WBC Asian (WBC Asia) belt at 118 lbs (Bantamweight).

I scored the main event what a battle between two southpaws :

Round 1 : Yanjie Zhang 10-9 Tasana Salapat, there is no round of observation the Chinese make the pressure at the beggin of the fight.

Round 2 : I give a draw

Round 3 : Tasana Salapat better on his footwork and protect well his body , Yanjie Zhang is known for work the body with powerful left and right hook. Tasana Salapat use more his jab and he is more accurate. He counter the Chinese very well on this round. Also good head movement by Tasana Salapat he block almost all powerful shots with his high guard and on the contrary of Chinese he touch him all the times. Even if Yanjie Zhang end the round with a lot of pressure. I give 10-9 Tasana Salapat



Round 4 : Tasana Salapat fight him definetely on hand to hand, the veteran Thai is a way more agressive right now and use his uppercut. Yanjie Zhang still make the pressure but with his experience Tasana Salapat block almost all of his shots with his guard and head movement. Yanjie Zhang try to work the body and he is more accurate in this round. One-two combinations of Tasana Salapat he work the body to the hand very easily.

Round 5 : Yanjie Zhang is more tired in this round, Tasana Salapat use his right uppercut. He try also the jab with his right hand and want to use his left but the Chinese counter him very well. Both are tired at the end of the round the Chinese was a good counter in this round and still want to be agressive.

Round 6 : Tasana Salapat uses the withdrawal steps perfectly he is more accurate than Yanjie Zhang. The Chinese definetely look tired here and Tasana Salapat work with basis one two combinations easily right jab / left hand. Tasana Salapat use more his jab who is also more effective for counter the Chinese.

10-9 Tasana Salapat and that is the first round who is not close.


Round 7 : Yanjie Zhang very agressive on the beggin of the round still a good pressure fighter but almost all the shots are blocked by the guard of the Thai veteran. Yanjie Zhang try to find the key on the body and use his jab to the body of Tasana Salapat on the head both counter the jab of each other (two southpaws). The Chinese try to use more his uppercut which is also effective. Tasana Salapat accelerates in his end of the round. And he is more accurate and agressive.

Round 8 : Both beggin the round very agressive and try each other to use powerful right and left hook. Tasana Salapat use his right jab to the body of the Chinese. Tasana Salapat is more accurate. Yanjie Zhang have a good footwork even if he is tired he try to use more his right jab in this round.Tasana Salapat's face is beginning to show signs of wear. But the Chinese looks so tired that he is still agressive but can't not have high guard and his hands are too low so it's facilitate some one-two basic combinations of Tasana Salapat.

Round 9 : Yanjie Zhang beggin the round very agressive. The Chinese work the body and and goes back to the head.Tasana Salapat tries to block the body shot with her guard and try to block the head shots by moving his head and try some counterattack with his left hook under the hail of blows but it is difficult. He complains of having received an elbow blow from the Chinese boxer. It's a true war hand to hand ! I noted that the right hand of the Chinese is particularly effective. At the end of the round Tasana Salapat counter the Chinese well with his left hand. Big shot from the Chinese at the end of the round with a hard left hook, Tasana Salapat try to resist and work the body of the Chinese. The Chinese still agressive want to finish the Thai veteran.

Clearly a round for Yanjie Zhang definitely more powerful and accurate on this round ! A true war the most beautiful round of the fight ! 10-9 Yanjie Zhang


Round 10 (final round) : Tasana Salapat try to counter the agressive Chinese fighter with his right jab this gives some success at the beggin of the round. Both are really tired here we have more clinch in this round. Yanjie Zhang is not fast like in the beggin so it's more easy for Tasana Salapat to blocks all the shots with his guard. A One two combinations very effective of Tasana Salapat to push Yanjie Zhang back and force him to give up the center of the ring. The Chinese want to work the body of the Thai veteran but this one is hurt probably and protect his body well. Yanjie Zhang finished the round perfectly in terms of the volume of punchs he was a way more better than Tasana Salapat. But Tasana Salapat almost block all of them and was more accurate.

Another information for the Chinese Yanjie Zhang he beggin his career with Sanda (Chinese Kickboxing) he is a boxer from Zhengzhou and lives there he actually train at Zhengzhou Friendship Boxing Club.
