Card is looking pretty terrible.

 

In relation to the fact that it is PPV, is it one of the worst PPV events on Sky Box Office in recent times. I know that the main fight will sell lots of PPV tickets (I m going to press the red buttom on the Sky remote), but it would not have mattered if there had been a solid co-main event (written with all due respect to Natasha Jonas)

 

**** poor matchmaking and **** poor card. Even Fwank and Eddie will be laughing at this!

 

Sums up the world of women’s boxing in one fight. Vacant title, jump from Super Featherweight up 4 (?) divisions, absolutely no strength in depth for the fan to relate to and a cheap option to fill a PPV undercard. At times in the 90s Warren put PPV cards on with 4 world championship fights followed by the same thing in the US featuring Lewis or Naz. Seems crazy now.

I still remember those amazing evenings/nights on Sky Box Office with a fantastic UK card + USA Card for 12,95 / 14,95. That was value for money

 

Thought I'd read it wrong when I first seen she was challenging up at Light Middle !!!

Jonas is 37 now and this is the last roll of the dice really. She was EXTREMELY unlucky in the Terri Harper fight and pushed Katie Taylor all the way in a cracking fight.

I've never heard of her opponent at Light Middle... but I'm sure her team must've seen something in her that is poor otherwise she wouldn't be jumping up 4 divisions.

To be fair people should just not buy it to show Sky and boxxer we won’t just buy any old crap.

boxxer massively overpaid Brook and khan in order to give Sky a PPV when they have no stable. Now we get served tripe.

think it also shows Jonas was clearly bullshiting when blamin him for the fact she wanted soft touches and he wanted 50/50s
