The presser was scheduled for today (Tues 1st Sept) and the fight card for Oct 21st according to this article MM:

Geale, Mundine to share billing at Launceston's Silverdome
BY SHELLEY SPENCER AND KATE CLIFFORD
    28/08/2009

WORLD champion boxers Anthony Mundine and Daniel Geale are heading for Launceston.

The rivals will be at the Silverdome on Tuesday to announce that they will fight on the same card at the venue on October 21.

Mundine's manager Khoder Nasser, who confirmed "The Man" would be at the press conference, has tagged the event "the road to the rematch" between the two fighters.

Mundine and Tasmania's Geale have not seen each other since their bout in May, in Brisbane, when Geale lost his IBO world middleweight title in a controversial split- points decision.

After Geale's camp appealed against the decision, the IBO ordered a rematch between the pair by February 27, 2010, or Mundine would be forced to relinquish his title.

Both camps will use the event as a preview to see if Tasmanian support would justify holding the rematch in the state.

Geale said he was excited Mundine had finally agreed to a rematch, although a date had still not been set.

"We know he's not going to be in the sport for that many more years, so we'll have to see when it happens," Geale said.

"Definitely good news he will be coming, I'm feeling as good as ever and can't wait to get back in the ring again."

Geale's Sydney trainer Garry Fransisco said this event was a way of trying to secure the highly anticipated rematch down the track.

"Putting their next fights on the same card is letting Tasmania know we are trying to secure the rematch," Fransisco said.

Who Mundine and Geale fight is expected to be announced on Tuesday, with Geale tipped to take on a highly ranked IBF fighter from the US.

"I can't wait to fight in front of my home crowd, it's something I have wanted to do for a long time," Geale said.

"Should be a good show, both our fights will be good to watch."
