tassie gov not helping geale....

Seems to be a trend in this country now , as soon as you get some kind of belt or a high ranking you then only want to put yourself on main event ppv, It works for Green and Mundine.

But for a guy like Geale it alienates himself from the casual fan that would watch him on Friday night fights, they just arent hardcore to fork out extra for ppv so then it leaves the average Joe sayin who is Daniele Geale havent seen him on any fox cards. He maybe should build more of a following first and fight the guys we havent heard of before like his next fight on a non ppv card , and then go main event for the bigger names.

 

Appears to have been some progress made as our local paper The Mercury is claiming the fight in Tassie is a done deal!
Marcus, your nuts with the north/south rivalry, my friends and I happily head up north for music, supercross, boxing etc, hell I've promoted an event myself up in Launceston.

Besides, for an average looking guy down south, you turn into Brad Pitt at a northern pub simply cause you have all your teeth and don't walk with a limp

these guys need to get payed some money, he has a major title, let make some money. this is boxing right, getting punch in the head, getting ****ed up, slurred speech. In the business you get as much money as possible because you could die or get ****ed up for life.

 

He should be out there doing a bit of comentary on fox fight night,mourning shows,footy shows & showing some of the clips from when he 1 the title that will get him exposure to the wider public & the part time boxing fan. This will help him in get good dollars in oz ppv land.

 

And he has to tuck his shirt in.
