Tavoris Cloud is an unstoppable force!

dawson would make cloud look silly. he won't even make it past johnson.

Cloud has a long way to go, but he will give a Dawson type an interesting fight. Dawson is probably mature enough at this point to weather the storm and out box him though. He is definitely a flawed fighter but his physicality is impressive and no one is going to have a particularly easy fight against him (except for Hopkins, but noway that matchup happens).

Cloud vs Johnson should be an absolute barnburner, Cloud showed he was a beast vs Woods but very hittable, Johnson is a lot better (prime for prime and past it now) than Woods, so it will make for an interesting fight. Expect a good showing from Johnson.

 

Cloud isn't ready for Dawson. And Cloud should be fighting every quarter but isn't. This concerns me.

 

I agree....Johnson has enough left in the tank to beat the raw cloud...I like cloud to but he's not experienced enough or talented enough to beat Dawson. Cloud reminds me of Kirkland except not as promising...tough, good chin and power but limited.

 

I haven't seen Cloud fight for awhile. Has his trainer told him jabs are legal yet?

 

Don't forget Woods beat Johnson last time they met. Johnson is still capable and a legit contender but Cloud is too good for him.

 

Name one decent fighter Tavoris Cloud has beaten who isn't a shot "senior citizen."

Also, Cloud had the chance to face Dawson, and preferred to face "senior citizen" Clinton Woods instead for less money. Dawson's team offered him six figures for a fight, and he turned it down to make about $30,000 on FNF and win an easy belt.

 

Dawson would embarrass Cloud. Cloud at times had trouble with a 37 year old Clinton Woods, who was jabbing and countering him at will. He'll be lucky to get through Johnson successfully first. He's basically a slightly more skilled version of Jeff Lacy when you think about it. They both come forward with little head movement or defense, both are known for power, both are very flat-footed, but Cloud has a little more skill and less hype.
