Cloud had some serious work rate in his fight against Woods.

clouds a schooling waiting to happen! johnson would bust him up! i even think someone as raw and unproven as cleverly could outbox him,a younger more active woods would have beaten him.

At least it takes to have balls to prove otherwise.

  4. I agree, Dawson lacks balls.

Cloud sucks. Clinton Woods gave him fits and won about 5 rounds. There's no way that he beats Glen Johnson.

Strange comment to make about two fighters who have fought three times and provided ample evidence during those three fights that there was very little between them at all.

    how does Dawson fear Cloud?

the reason the fight didn't happen was because of HBO, and mainly because isn't widely known.

Dawson is now the mandatory for Pascal's WBC title.

I think Cloud's got enough to beat Johnson right now. Johnson hasn't looked too good in his last couple of fights, at least not up to the level a few years ago.

Dawson would school Cloud. Cloud is a pretty basic and predictable fighter. As someone said, he's a schooling waiting to happen.

Personally, even as a Brit, I thought Johnson deserved the nod in the series. I thought he won the 3rd fight, and could of easily pinched the first aswell. I think it's telling that the series was split 1-1-1 with all 3 fights in or around Sheffield.

It seems like Cloud will be doubted until he's either flat on his face getting counted out (and oh, how they'll love to say they told us so...) or has the division in a total throttle-hold with every single world title belt in existence (down to the IBO and WBF) unified.

So what exactly are you implying? That he's the second coming?

I think it's fair to reserve judgment on him until he faces some guys like Dawson or Johnson. But even in the fights he's had, you can tell that he's limited. He's not much of a boxer. He just tries to out physical you with his youth, speed and energy. That will work against bad compeition but not against the best. And he doesn't care too much for defense. If he fights someone slick, he might get schooled. He has the makings of a very good fighter but not an "elite" fighter based on his style.

As i said above, i think right now, he beats Johnson. But not Dawson.

Cloud might not make it past Johnson, even though i slightly favor him. He's good, but he's no unstoppable force. He's not the fastest guy - hand and foot, and he does get hit.
