I really want Gabriel Campillo to get another shot. The dude deserves a chance to prove he's title material after he got screwed vs Shumenov. Sadly, I figure he's about the last cat on King's radar for Cloud to fight being a southpaw with a horrible risk/reward ratio. I'd put money on Campillo to win if it ever happened.
I think Pascal will look good early with his foot speed being better than clouds but I then see cloud taking over in the later rounds and potentially stopping Pascal. If Pascal can't do anything early in the first part of the fight to slow Cloud down for the later rounds i see cloud catching up to Pascal.
I wouldn't rule it out. Both Cloud and Erdei have different promoters from when they were negotiating back in 2009, without any details on why talks broke down in 2009 maybe it's more workable this time since DiBella wants to get Erdei a big fight stateside.
I know, you've posted that link multiple times. But it doesn't give any insight into why they pulled out. No deal-breaking info, haggling, or anything. All we know is Cloud had issues with Richie Boy Promotions and has since abandoned them (and has a lawsuit against him) and is now with Don King and if I recall correctly, Zsolt wasn't feeling so great with Universum either and is now with Dibella. So, I really don't see why that link makes you assume its out of the question.
Because of the quality Cloud seems happy to fight in. Woods was for a vacant title so fair play, but Johnson :yikes, Zuniga :yikes, Mack... You get the point
The fact that Cloud went the distance with an old, fat, battle worn Zuniga is more than a bit troubling. In my opinion Cloud needed to spark Zuniga no later than the 7th round. Tavoris needs to fight a lot more often. His inactivity is clearly hurting him. I'd match him up with Miranda and Ornales in quick succession.
