Cloud didn't look any better against Zuniga than Shumenov has in his last two fights. They have a lot of the same strengths and weaknesses and match up fairly evenly h2h, actually. I'm a longtime supporter of both due to their styles and hard work, but am not holding my breath for either to unify the division. Both are too flawed.
It would be a great fight, but Cloud would have too much I think. Styles make fights.. don't get me wrong Shumenov is a good fighter, I just don't rate him at that elite level. Campillo exposed a lot of flaws.

light punching Gabrielle Campillo beat the **** out of Shumenov. Even had him ready to go a couple times. What do people think would happen if that was Cloud landing those shots? Shumenov is much more unpolished than Cloud, and just not that Good. Anyone who saw his rematch with Campillo knows this.
cloud will be ducked like the plague for the next year or so the likes of dawson (who shoud fight him next) pascal, hopkins, wont him they'd all rather fight each other cause there bigger names while ceverly, brahmer, shumenov see him as being to dangerous the only other top guy is campillo which i think would be a great fight but again nobody knows campillo either so it'll be a small money fight that wont get made
