The few punches Cloud threw that landed were pretty solid and had an effect on Hopkins, but for whatever reason he was scared to throw

Hopkins is slick and a great counter puncher, but he lacks power. Cloud should have taken more chances, plain and simple

 

Go look at the Vcash betting lines. Overwhelming number picked Hopkins. Absolutely absurd betting lines in this fight.

Easy money.

 

So fighting a defending world champion at 48 is cherry picking. Gotcha

Ward will not move up to LHW as that would suit Hopkins, Ward would make him drain down to 168 like he did with Dawson. Ward is not the type to commit to a fair fight, he looks for every conceivable advantage before he signs up. Froch however would take the fight if the money was right, but the matchup is horrible for Froch, I think Cleverly v Hopkins would be a good fight to make next

 

Couldnt land on hopkins. Bernard is still slippery as hell and cagey as ****.

 

I picked Cloud to win, and my judgment was horribly wrong. B-Hop was tremendous. Very little spoiling or dirty fighting. Good stuff.
