I say my man Dawson by decision. Cloud is good but he's so poorly managed that I don't think he'll ever get that big fight he deserves. On top of that they're both pretty inactive. Should be a good fight if they ever do fight.
I'd go with the safest bet, Dawson by decision. Cloud is pretty good though, he would definitely make it competitive.
I think Dawson wins this one by a pretty wide decision. I can see Cloud winning if Dawson tries to win over fans by going toe-to-toe with Cloud a la Dawson-Johnson I. If Dawson boxes the way he's capable of, he'll take it. I just hope Cloud didn't throw his career away even more by signing with King.
It's gotta be Dawson for me. Cloud's got potential, but he was at least a class below Dawson. Now, instead of fighting more often to refine his game and iron out some flaws, he's been so inactive that he'll have ring rust to deal with along with missed opportunities for improvement. I think he's one of the worst managed fighters in the game right now to be perfectly frank. Even if his team didn't think he was ready for a Dawson fight, he needs to stay active.
cloud i dont think has the workrate to pressure dawson (might change his fight plan i guess i dont know) dawsons defence,length and speed should be able to keep him out of trouble and to take the fight away from him....good fight on paper though, might not turn into a great fight for tv but is a match that should be made
Dawson wins easy. Cloud's lack of defense and mobility would hurt him against the faster, more skilled, more athletic, and more mobile Dawson. As I've said before, if old Clinton woods could hit him at will, what would Dawson do to him?
