Côté is training but still no word about who he's gonna fight. I think it's gonna be against someone from the Nottingham region but I might be wrong on this one. When you look at boxrec, there's a lot of names but nobody clearly pops out.

According to The Scene, both sides have reached a verbal agreement and they're waiting on a date from Showtime. :bbb

Though there's always the chance Don King makes last minute demands and kills the deal the same way he did last year.

    Okay, thanks.

This is good and bad news. I'd prefer pascal took a tune-up. Coming of a loss and an injury it's a tough ask to jump back in with the top guys. Bs has done it before though.

Great fight, I reckon Cloud will pull it off even though ive heavily criticised him in the past.

Maybe cloud but can't hit a moving target. Once pascal slows down the last couple of rounds should be interesting. I look at this as being similar to the Diaconu fight only Cloud hits harder. Pascal has to get Cloud's respect early otherwise he'll get overwhelmed. Fortunately to one thing I disagree with you on is Cloud's ability to take a punch. It's good but he did get rocked by Clinton Woods. Not a great sign. Don't be surprised to see both guys rocked in this fight.

Sometimes the IBF is pretty stiff but let's hope you're right. Cloud looked bad on his last fight, Pascal lost a close fight to Hopkins. Both fighters should be hundry. Big risk for both fighters but big reward for the winner. With Bute-Froch, that makes an exciting boxing year for us.

Because he is ducking Sillakh. They're both hypejobs trying to avoid getting their asses kicked by Campillo and Sillakh.

Excellent fight. Pascal has the style and experience to take this, but his defense and stamina are suspect, and Cloud might be able to get to him late.

I want to see it though. :happy:happy

    :good

I hate those pricks who claim they're too big for a fight and then end up not fighting for more than a year. (BTW, what's Ward up to? :hi:) That just proves they have an over-inflated sense of self-worth and that they price themselves out of legitimate fights for no good reason. (Hi Mikkel! :hi:)

edit: I know it hasn't been anywhere close to a year for Ward, but his "easy homecoming" will indeed take place later than he thought it would if something doesn't get announced soon.)

Both guys have just enough holes in their games to create a really good fight. I'd put some money on Pascal, but he could tire.

Edit : I'd like to add that fighting Hopkins is much more harder than fighting Cloud. I doubt we'd see Pascal as gassed.
