Tavoris Cloud want's Ward at 175!

As one-sided of a beatdown as it would be, if Pavlik was able to get a win against an upper-echelon SMW, I bet that fight would sell. And if Bute bounces back that might sell as well since Canada seems to be thriving in boxing. And who knows, maybe in that time someone from middleweight like a Golovkin builds up momentum and goes up. Not a whole lot of great paydays at LHW, seems like there's more opportunity for it at SMW.

 

Cloud is a good fighter 24-0 (19) overall and 5-0 (1) in World Title fights. He's the IBF LHW Champ and has been for over 3 years.

Yes, his last fight was close... a SD over Gabriel Campillo. He had Campillo down twice in the 1st round. Campillo opened a cut over Cloud's left eye in the 4th round. They should fight again.

Cloud has also beat-

Jim Strohl KO1- Strohl sucks but Cloud beat him as bad as he ever got beat. Keep in mind that Strohl has fought Cedrick Boswell, Calvin Brock, and Rob Calloway at HW. He's also faced Mark Tucker and Omar Sheika at LHW

Julio C. Gonzalez KO10- IBF title eliminator, the only KO loss of Gonzalez career

Clinton Woods W12- for the vacant IBF title, Woods had beat Elvir Muriqi in his previous fight

Glen Johnson W12- Johnson actually deserved the loss in this fight, I had it 8 rounds to 4 for Cloud

Fulgencio Zuniga W12- Cloud had Zuniga down twice and dominated the fight but couldn't finish him

You clearly havent watched the Campillo fight have you? Campillo gets dropped and comes back to school Cloud and win every single round. Cloud won 3 rounds max and was awarded the SD nod. Blatant robbery. Probably the worst of that year. You base your knowledge off boxrec? :yepatsch

So because ya'll think Cloud would get outclassed...him asking for a fight with Ward Ridiculous, right? Yet ya'll continue to post that Cloud hasn't fought anyone. Trying to follow the logic of these posters head shakingly exhausting.

 

the only part I liked about the video was when cloud brought out his "slick" flip phone...:rasta

 

Ward doesn't have the physical advantages of Campillo and I think Cloud gassed himself out in the first round with the KD and never recovered due to ring rust and over looking him and slacking in training.

He would be up for a Ward fight and I think it would be a great entertaining fight.
