Heard this kid looks good. Has raw talent and is picking up on his boxing skills. How about matching him against Reggie Johnson who beat his last opponent Gonzalez but lost a close one to Tarver? The kid only went the distance once. A four rounder with veteran Regginald Strickland early in his career.

Cloud would destroy Reggie Johnson, anyway he is good but there are a lot of 175 lb fighters outhere who would beat him.

The Shark isn't one of them.

I agree, Cloud would destroy the Shark, I mean Diaconu had a closer than expected fight with Chris Henry who is not in the class of Tavoris Cloud. Cloud would to to Diaconu what Diaconu did to Rico Hoye, maybe worse.

Don't agree,Henry is very fast and strong but not very accurate and a very dirty fighter on the inside(which is good for him).He didn't beat Diaconu at his own game cuz he didn't do enough early,he lost correctly.Cloud is about on the level of Henry or Shaun George but Henry is ranked by The Ring, they aren't

Henry has good speed coming in on the inside,I mean did you see Clinton Woods, now that's slow. They are pretty much on the same level, next opponents and fights will prove or not.And yes I'm sure he will be ranked pretty soon but not just yet

The Shark's power really is overrated IMO. He is a solid puncher, nothing more. Tavoris definitely has the clear edge in speed and power.

True maybe his power is a little overrated but his boxing skills are clearly underrated,he had a couple of fights where he boxed nice, the trainers wanted to make more of a boxer out of him

I was surprised to see Cloud do so well over Gonzalez, however, Cloud took too many punches and Gonzalez is over the hill.
I definitely want to see Cloud fight more top light heavyweights.

This guy is actually quite impressive. It's funny how some guys that deserve hype get very little in the US, whilst others that are lesser prospects will get more.
