If ur corner tells you "don't get caught" then he will get flashbacks of froch

he needs a new team behind him

My analysis of the first half of the fight
    Round 1: J.T
    Round 2: J.T
    Round 3: A.A
    Round 4: J.T
    Round 5: Even
Round 6: (J.T But with decution) Even
    2nd Half Analysis
    Round 7: Abraham
    Round 8: Even
    Round 9: Abraham
    Round 10: Abraham
    Round 11: J.T
Round 12: Even up until the ko punch (which interestingly didn't look that bad)

if the round had finished with J.T getting back up then he would have lost by 2 points (A.A 115: 113 J.T)

i thought the commentating was rather **** though.

Taylor looked far worse than he did against Froch. Abraham is effective -incredibly boring for the most part (I'm not keen on fighters who only liven up in brief spurts), but effective - though I do wonder how he'd fare against a fighter who pressured him properly or a speedy slickster. He's beatable, but you're going to have to execute your plan extremely well to do so.

Holy ****! And here I was thinking "at least taylor survived the fight". Poor guy. Heck, the KO punch didn't even look that hard...maybe he's done? well, at least he has a few more sure fights.

    Abraham is a beast

Scary KO. Those stretched out arms reminded me of that guy who started punching when laying on his back.

Stop trolling, please. The guy came in, in the last round knowing he was down and had to go for the knockout and he couldn't get through. Show the guy a little ****ing respect, man. He gave everything, and his stamina was much improved but his career is over.

And no, he wouldn't have won on any judge's card in any city unless the twat who was doing the Malignaggi/Diaz fight was scoring.

Lovely start to this tournament though.

It was the same combination as the one he knocked Miranda down with first, left half-hook opening the guard, and then a compact, short straight right hand hitting square under the nose. No looping punch.

What the **** are you talking about? I wanted Taylor to win, but he was clearly down at least 2 rounds going in to the 12.

    I agree.

I really like Jermain - he is a classy boxer, so the end was a bit too hard.

However, one good thing is that in this way the few morons who would have claimed Taylor would have won on points are silenced. This is a good thing.

Lol. He won 2-3 rounds in the whole fight. He was well behind on the scorecards. I had it 9-2 for AA.

King Arthur thought JT would be a pushover, but AA dug deep, and got the ko. AA has a couple of late round ko's, and that experience should carry him over. JT looked so tall against AA, and it took AA a while for AA to truly reach JT. AA is just a superb fighter with a superb chin, and this fight at 168 was a good test for AA who can now fill in hopefully. Those guys at 168 are big guys... AA has his work cut out for him.

Strange fight. I thought Jermain was doing well, he was never gonna hurt Arthur but he was just too one handed tonight. Even if he lasted the distance there was never going to be a points victory, even if he did land more punches.

Arthur Abraham's guard - wtf? He holds his gloves right in his face and his elbows in a position where if you go for the body you're in low blow territory. A nightmare to score against.

And those commentators were so bias....Jeezus.
