I like him too but JT is one of my favs so obviously pulling for him. But Ivan B is a very dangerous customer. In fact, I was watching a YT vid the other day where some guy said he considers Ivan stylistically a more dangerous opponent for Taylor than Rougarou (albeit not as skilful as him) and I think I agree with that assessment. Ivan has legit KO power in either hand and he's bull strong and very aggressive so JT has to stay focused for every single second for as long as the fight lasts. I do think JT's class (I rate his skills and technical ability as high as anyone on here) should be too much for him, but I'm a little concerned about how he looked at the weigh in and anyone who can punch like Ivan poses a threat to any fighter at 140.

What a clown Taylor is. Goes off on Baranchyk who is a very likeable person without any kind of trash talk coming out of his mouth. Taylor is nervous. Hopefully he's getting KTFO.

Josh is coming across as a hot head. I hope he composes himself by tomorrow, cause if he fights off emotion and trades with Baranchyk, he gives Baranchyk his best chance.

Even as a guy who's been picking Taylor the entire time, Baranchyk seems a helluva lot more composed of the two.

Taylor's being emotional. Contrast him with Prograis three weeks ago. Regis was cool and composed the entire fight week. Taylor seems on edge for some reason.

Will that make me change my prediction? No, I still think Taylor will beat him up.

But it definitely makes Baranchyk more of a live underdog.

Baranchyk is such a nice person. Humble. Taylor on the other side is an arrogant brat. Hopefully Ivan punching his head off tomorrow.

I think he just likes to try and intimidate his opponents but he does have a fiery side to him.

Even before the weigh-in I was leaning towards Baranchyk and if I was a betting man, I would be putting down a few quid on him. I do think the occasion and expectation may be getting to Taylor. Skills wise, I see this as a real 50/50. Taylor the better technician and Baranchyk a top level pressure fighter.

Are Glasgow people not boxing fans? The energy at the weigh in was non-existent. Weak claps. Terrible weigh in. Terrible one question interview post weigh in.

Taylor will certainly have to physically break Baranchyk, because I don't see Baranchyk quitting like Ryan Martin and O'Hara Davies, two mental midgets.

Did you think he looked that bad? I didn't think Taylor looked too sucked in. He's a tall, lean Scottish dude, so I kinda think he always looks super pale and super skinny on the scale.

It's not just how he looked but also that business with him drinking water after thinking he's made weight only to be told he hadn't and then having to go sweat it off, that and the 10lb rehydration clause the following morning. They did it for their last fight but I get the impression from Shane McGuigan that it's something they're not comfortable with even though JT won't actually weigh much more than that all when he climbs into the ring.

He only rehydrated to 149 when he fought Alfonso Olivera and he came in 2lbs over the light-welter limit for that one. But that was 2.5 years ago and he's filled out more now. In fact, he looks like he's added some more muscle for this fight.

Baranchyk has a build similar to GGGs. They are lean but thick through the back, well muscled.
