Yeah it does seem like it's too good to be true because Taylor could box froch all night and get a decision. WTF would going and trading with him do other than end with an early KO, Too risky!

I was getting excited there for a minute and thinking Taylor and his team have seriously underestimated Froch.

 

Yeah where ARE those people? I seem to remember those people always trying to refer to Taylor as some sort of ducker.

Agreed....Taylor also ALWAYS has to be first. If he lets Froch dictate things, He's going to in for a long night.

 

Well, let's see what Taylor and Oz learned from Pat Burns. You catch the Duddy fight? Burns was half the show for me. Telling Duddy he was doing well with his "anger management" is nothing short of classic in my mind. There used to be a front page poster that had one point and posted obsessively saying Taylor should leave Steward and go back to Burns. I see why now. Yeah, Burns is past history, which is why I say let's see what the "team" learned from him.

 

Yeah, his first priority was trying to get Calzaghe into the ring...... You have to realize a lot of those posters had join dates around Froch's title win. Not hard to figure out here. I call them the Frochluddites. Not a great term, but best my feeble mind could come up with. You can also find the same folks swinging from Haye........ You can guess the connection. Not saying it is nessecarily a bad thing, brings people to the sport, but it is only temporary. Froch loses most will be gone. If Haye follows suit, the rest will be gone. So, it doesn't bring many fans to the sport.

Very happy this thing is made. Lets hope Kessler's had his fill of steamrolling no-marks and takes a fight with the winner.

 

I'm still gonna watch some tape on both to make a final prediction altough Ihave a basic idea already but I think this fight is gonna be close.

 

Taylor didn't look nearly as sharp against Lacy as he did against Pavlik, and bear in mind that the same applies to Lacy since his beat-down by Calslappy.

Still, I expect Forch to get wasted in an embarassingly lopsided UD, or stopped late. He's too slow, too lax and droops his hands down like a gorilla. He'll get thoroughly outboxed by a far cleverer, far faster, far more slick Taylor.

I am particularly interested in your pre-Pascal analysis of Froch. His supporters keep claiming that it was a very uncharacteristic fight for him. I have only the Pascal fight to judge from.
