Allan Green is going to take Froch's place on the March 28 Showtime card in St. Louis. Not a surprising matchup considering DiBella promotes both Taylor and Green.

A win-win for the promoter, but not the ideal fight for the fans.

Agreed. Just another whatever match to me. I'm definetely not paying for this either.

It's not bad. But Taylor will win, and I'd much rather see Taylor-Froch.

its only a win-win for this event not in the long run. One of these fighters stock will go down after this fight. It would have been wiser if Taylor fought Froch and Green targeted Bika so both of his fighters would have a chance to hold belts.

Can't see the point of DiBella handing Green another defeat.

I'm glad Bute fights Zuniga. It's a better fight than Taylor-Green. But let's wait until tomorrow. It still may be a negociation tactic.

Yep. I mean, Green has almost no fan base as it is, and to give him another loss is only gonna hurt his fan base. This may be easy to make happen, but doesnt make sense in the future.

He's sacrificing one of his fighters' careers at the expense of another; in this case Green is most likely the lamb.

He's not a bad fighter though. I know he lost to Miranda but he went the distance, and he's recovered surprisingly well from defeat since then, beating guys like Rubin Williams and Carl Daniels.

Beating Green isn't going to do Taylor's career any good, in fact it's probably going to do more harm than good as he has the Froch fight on the table.

Just makes no sense to me.

Yeah but Green wants the fight,I hope he gets the upset. No reason Green shouldn't have got shot at Bika or Froch he would have gone England and took less money

Jermain Taylor is doing what he should have done after the Corey Spinks fight and that was take 1 or 2 easy fights to rebuild confidence he's in no rush to fight Froch.

Froch winning his next fight and Jermain beating Green just makes things a little more interesting for the fight ahead and who knows Allan Green just might show up.

If Green puts up a good fight, it should increase his fan base if anything. It's a televised fight on a major network for good money. If he loses badly, then it is what it is. It's not like he's going to get much better at this point in his career.

Taylor should be a big favorite and Green can gain respect if he loses but at least puts on a good show, shows guts, etc. Sorta like Kessler did in gaining notoriety (at least in the US) with a loss to Calzaghe. If Green looks like Lacy in there, then you'll be right.

A loss is only gonna hurt him, in no way is it gonna help him just because he's getting recognition by being on tv. Lacy's loss to JT didn't help him, so in no way will this loss help Green.
