People tend to forget about how fast Taylor puts his punches together. He was still able to flurry toward the end of the fight even though it was a very stamina draining fight ( all the clinching ) . Lacy lunged at JT all night and put his chest into JT's chest, so of course Taylor is going to hold .. but Taylor's combos were still very impressive.

I admit JT's lack of inside fighting is bad, but fighting from range behind that jab is his strongpoint. I think that Taylor stands a good chance against anyone at 168 that will fight in the middle of the ring with him.

I think his power is underrated as well, he had Lacy in trouble on more than one occasion during the fight, and Lacy has a good chin ( He has to , since he takes so many shots )

Also he nearly had lacy out of there. Lacy took a severe beating in this fight. He was so wobbled in round 3-4? he couldnt barely stand.

JT also has an awsome jab. When JT uses his jab with hsi quickness followed by that logn right hand. Ouch.

Also, his uppers were devastating last night. lacy showed great chin to finish the fight. Honestly, I felt like it could ahve been stopped a couple times.

I thought he looked okay from great or good. His timing was off. He held , but as one of you guys mentioned, Lacy was rushing in alot. All I can say is his jab was very good and his stamina was great for the fight being so physical. He needs one or two more fights. He can do it. Take another fight in the next two months to sharpen up and stay busy. He will make alot of noise at 168. Forget Joe and either fight the winner of the WBC title or go after Kessler after at least one or two more confidence fights like how Taylor put it.

I agree that he should forget about Joe, he should take another tune up, then go after Kessler

Yes, but the powers to be (HBO) will try to push Taylor to beat Joe before he retires. If this happens, it will be a Lacy fight, but not as bad due to Taylor being a better fighter. I have been won over by Joe. He is a very good fighter. He is intelligent, knows how to adapt, and take a punch. I really don't see anyone beating hiim at this stage and that is including Dawson.

I think Glen Johnson has the right style and experience to beat JC, but at this stage of the game, that's just to much risk for such little reward for JC to take so it will never happen. As you said.. Joe is intelligent which is why he won't fight Johnson.

from what i saw last night it will be kessler winning UD or KO
    no doubt!
kessler is faster, stronger and has alot more power than taylor.

considering you are from Denmark, it might be hard to get an un bias view from you, considering Kessler is the only great fighter you've had for quite sometime.....

but I think you are very wrong in terms of speed. Taylor definitely is faster than Kessler, but I do give Kessler and edge in strength. Taylor does best against fighters who fight orthodox, and with Kessler thats exactly what he will have... I think it would be much closer than you think.

i might be a litle bias affected on this one but i really couldnt see anything last night that kessler couldnt deal with, sorry.
lets hope the fight happens and we will see who is right.
im sure it will be exiting, but kessler will win!
