Taylor is a very dangerous fight for Ward

I've got a nagging feeling about this fight and if the odds are decent I may have a flutter on JT.

Highly doubt he can come into the fight mentally decent however!

Taylor doesn't need to risk another concussion. Period.

Exactly!:good Jermain Taylor will always be respected whether in winning or losing but I fear his mental health or worse is being put in jeopardy by risking further blows to the head.

Do you think Ward can cause a concussion

Taylor definitely looks like his punch resistance is below average these days, but Ward dont have that kind of KO power IMO

It is still a risk he should not be taking in my opinion. DiBella walked away for a reason. All he had to do was sit and take his cut and he couldn't stomach to do that and would rather see JT retire. I think Dibella knows more than we do about this.

And I think Taylor knows better than Dibella and us of his own condition.

If he does get hurt seriously in the Ward fight then it would be upsetting

Taylor's jab, lateral movement, and overall speed make him a tough task for anyone. He is also able to make adjustments he rarely gets credit for. He was making Froch look like an amateur, until he gassed. He was beating Pavlik both times until he got tired and he was beating Abraham through the first half of the fight.

Also, Taylor is very used to dealing with unorthodox styles and coming out on top, so Ward's style will not pose as much of a problem as it did for Kessler. See Taylors's wins over Hopkins and Spinks as examples. His fight with Wright also provides insight into his ability to deal with complex styles.

Taylor has trouble with hard punching pressure fighters. Ward is neither. He will most likely give Taylor the "space" to execute his game plan.

I am sure the Ward camp would like to avoid the Taylor challenge if he retires, because I am sure they understand the significant risk he presents.

Taylor and Pavlik were both surprised at the judges scores and both thought Kelly was up at the stoppage, even with the KD.

Don't bet on Talyor knowing what is best for him. DiBella is like the corner man throwing in the towel because he knows his man won't quite even if he should.

:good If Taylor can train to a peak level and come in with confidence, he could certainly upset the odds.
