Taylor is a very dangerous fight for Ward

Most of us aren't concerned about a win here and there. Yeah, he can probably still win a few. We are just genuinely concerned about his long term health. Win the battle, lose the war?

Don't count Taylor out in this one. Ward is being considered to be the next big thing right now, but I've got a feeling that Taylor will surprise the boxing world next year. At least he will be very competitive.

Guys ward is hiding a weak chin. Taylor may have the speed to land on it. Trust me ward can not take a good shot plus he lacks power. I'm picking taylor. Ward does not have to punching power that AA has.

I respectfully disagree. I think Andre Ward will have no trouble with Jermain Taylor. I think Ward will not only win, but win by knockout or TKO.

I give Taylor a good chance in this fight. Taylor is a great fighter just plagued by poor stamina a crackable chin and poor strategy. I feel if Jermain sticks to the jab and does not get over eager and punch himself out or get into an unecessary inside fight he can win. I said can not will. Ward has one good fight. Kessler and not to knock Ward but that Kessler did not look 100%. Ward was the biggest darkhorse in the tournament. A big mystery he was never in a big fight and nobody knew what he was cap[able of that night. He no mystery anymore 11 rounds against Kessler. Taylor knows what he is in for where Kessler did not. With a proper preparation and FILM OF HISS OPPONENT he can formulate a good strategy unlike Kessler. Though taylor never sticks to the plan and usually pounches himself out. His best perfomances were the 2nd BHop fight, Pavlik 2, Froch, and Lacy. Though he lost the Pavlik fight I thought it was very close and he fought all 12 rounds and fought smart, Froch he punched himself out but was that close to winning, and Lacy he made easy minus the KD

The thing is, Taylors been ruined. He never turns up to a fight in condition to go a twelve hard rounds any more and thats been proven with his last few performances, its alright saying he could do this or he could do that but the fact is he just hasn't got it any more.

I don't think his stamina is necessarily an issue. He was pretty consistent against AA. It's that he simply isn't good enough to handle Ward's tools.

Ward doesn't have Taylor's kryptonite(constant pressure with good power ex. Froch, Pavlik, Abraham). I see him giving Taylor fits and winning a decision. A knockout would surprise me.

JT will UD Ward...JT is completely underrated because of his KO losses. Losing to Froch was plain stupid. I bet that JT wouldn't lose against him again. Ward is overrated. Even Miranda looked better against him than Kessler did. It was Kessler who made Ward looking so awesome. JT is still one of the fastest guys. He can play the game the same way Ward does. Can he play it better? Imho, yes, he can and that is why I have him winning this bout.

Only really because Abrahams punch output was low, i dont like to discredit former undisputed middleweight champions of the world but he just doesn't have the gas to go the full twelve rounds even against opponents who dont particularly make you work super hard.

Yes he has been KO'd a couple of times, but I believe the calls for him to retire are an overreaction. Let's look at the following example.

Archie Moore, was KO'd multiple times in his career, even before he won the Light Heavy title. What if he had retired after his third KO loss? That would have been 1948!! Well before he accomplished so many great things in the ring. And Moore seemed to live a long health life after his boxing career ended.

What worried me in the Abraham fight was that he didn't even throw his big right hand, so on top of having his punch resistence dented, he looks gun shy now as well.
