Far from it. This performance was stunning Taylor was sharper than he was in the Lacy fight and I for one feel this Taylor would beat Pavlik in a rubber match.

Don't rip on Taylor guys he fought exceptionally well. This was the Taylor of 2004/2005 we saw tonight give the man his dues and don't cast him aside. He made a believer out of me this man has a legit shot @ being an elite 168'r.

I can't see him coming back. He was stopped rather brutally and blew his chances.

Gee, If I say anything good about Taylor I'm accused of doing so only to make Pavlik look better. :yep

Taylor is a disappointing waste of potential, that's all I have to say about the guy.

Taylors stamina is atrocious these days, He can't see the championship rounds through. He might not be through but 168 elite? I think not!

He has to admit to himself he isn't hungry enough to train for 12 rounds any more. Props to Froch for doing what he had to do, but Taylor didn't have it in his tank to see the end of the fight.

Is Taylor as good as any 160-170 lb fighter through 1st 6 rounds? Yes.

Is Taylor risking becoming a vegetable at a young age by taking brutal shots while he's out on his feet late in fights? Yes.

Taylor's stamina won't change any time soon....He says the same **** different fight. But the same **** happens different fight.

i thought taylor fought well but this guy just cant finish a 12 rounder i really wanted taylor to win this. i became a fan of taylor after the pavlik losses just cause of the way he handle them like a man he didnt trash talk pavlik. he congratulated him.

I don't see how he'll be able to come back from tonight's loss, it was brutal. A vet like him should not be gassing after 6 rounds at this point. He never seems to learn from his mistakes.

Taylors just a sprinter not a distance runner and at 31 he's not going to get any better at going the distance. His youth probably saved him for the few years that he was the champ but these guys he's fighting all all younger, bigger and hungery so I don't know how he can go a hard twelve with any of them.

Why do you feel he'd beat Pavlik when he did exactly what he did in the 2nd Pavlik fight tonight? Started backing up, barely throwing etc.....
