I would love to see that fight. A lot of people are saying Kessler would dominate Taylor, it's about time we find out what would really happen.

This would be a good fight

A Kessler win over Taylor would get him more exposure and more people would take notice. And if he did it more impressively than Pavlik, people would be very interested in seeing the two of them fight.

A Taylor win, though extremely unlikely to say the least, would be huge for his career.

It's not as unlikely as you think. Taylor has the experience and skills to beat him.

    Hell yeah!

    Hopkins x 2
    Pavlik x 2
Winky Wright (offers rematch, Wright refuses)
    Next Kessler

One of the best lists of opposition in the sport.

It so appears that fight can happen, but we have to wait until it is signed. This is the name I am hearing about and reading about, so there must be something to it.

How about this: Taylor whoops Green, Kessler whoops Miranda - Kessler whoops Taylor.

Sure, Kessler is a level above Pavlik. Similiar workrate, far superior jab, superior handspeed/footspeed/movement/defence/stamina and a better chin.

The skill levels aren't comparable. Kessler in terms of style and skill is very comparable to JMM, but with less an offensive arsenal, is Pavlik?

    Hell no.

Taylor won't win a round off of Kessler, especially seeing as how a good jab easily off sets him.

Yes, Kessler sure showed all those qualities against Joe didn't he?? Kessler looked like a gunshy robot in there, don't care if it was Joe C. he was fighting or not. Not to mention I did see him tee off on the sub-upper level Andrade, only to see Andrade didn't even have a red mark on his face afterwards. Before you come at me with Andrade's chin being made of space age alloys, I did see him hurt and dropped by Yusef Mack. :deal

This is totally a style mismatch. Kessler does everything better than Jermain. He has better footwork, defense, handspeed, and overall boxing technique.

Jermain is an average fighter, at best. As I predicted Pavlik would beat him twice, Kessler will beat him emphatically, ending in a brutal stoppage.

JT better go after Tito or old man Jones.
