Froch isn't a "nobody" - he's a former world amateur medallist with a professional world title.

He won a superb fight with Pascal, and did show boxing ability in spurts, when he wasn't waging war. He walked through some hard shots, and dominated in the late stages.

Pascal is no clubfighter either. Froch beat Pascal, and Pascal is good enough to face Taylor.

Why fight Froch's leftovers?

 

But fighting the guy ''the clubfighter'' beat is good?

 

so taylor is going to fight the guy that this "club fighter" just beat?

Seems hard to believe that SHOWTIME would be more interested in Pascal than Froch. :huh

As I recall Bute and Pascal are with different promoters. Bute has a belt and appears to be on the upswing despite a near knockout against Andrade. Pascal put on two bad performances then got a shot at a title and lost. It is not clear where he is heading.

Froch has a belt and he is a good style match for Taylor. Why Pascal? :huh

This is what we already know of Taylor. He fights for the largest purse available. But in the end, most of us would do that. Kessler does seem to be the exception though.
