Taylor lost the fight;Froch didnt win it

    Shades of Margarito vs Cotto where a vastly superior boxer dominated the early half of the fight before their questionable mental attributes failed them.

    Jermain Taylor once again shows why he's the most mentally redundant fighter since Zab Judah, combine that with some De la Hoya stamina and tonight has happened.

    Taylor could have cruised to a fairly easy victory like he could have in either Pavlik fight, instead he showed us just exactly why he falls short.

    Props to Froch.

    I c what your saying but if froch 'didnt win the fight' I have no idea what you were watching. He was down and some thought out. He himself didnt exactly look great stamina wise-other fighters maybe would have given up mentally especially away from home but froch WON tHE FIGHT FROM THE JAWS OF DEFEAT. He certainly had to go out and win that one

    As bad as I would like to agree on this, Froch was just the better man he earned a hard fought victory. I would not mind Pavlik vs Froch however.

    I am a Taylor fan and think he had the fight in the bag since he didnt seem to gas around round 9. But Froch FOUGHT for his belt and KO'd Taylor. Taylor deserves to lose b/c he did not do what his corner told him and keep up his output. Taylor just wanted to cruise to victory doing as little as possible. Champions dont do that. You have to beat the fight out of the Champion. Froch BEAT Taylor. Its not Froch's fault that Taylor got cocky and counted his eggs before they hatched. I knew Taylor was going to pull a clown move b/c after round 9 he asked what round it was. Taylor was counting rounds instead of going in there with "bad intentions". Being the better boxer does not mean you always win the fight. Froch just dug down and started throwing haymakers with serious power and JT forgot that he has something called a jab that was keeping Froch at bay and knocking the grease off his face.
