Taylor might turn down Froch for bout with Lacy

Froch is on top of the chain . . . if Taylor turns that down for Lacey then he is ****ed up.

Lacy was overrated and touted as the next great American hope. He had a crowd pleasing style. Was a straight forward slugger with very little core fundamentals and fanfare to his game. He won a "world title" got put in with Joe way to early and now seems to be the current David Reid. He also suffered a career injury and hasnt seemed to regain his confidence since beating Manfredo over 12 long rounds and fighting Typsko to a standstill despite having a torn rotator cuff which would have caused him an immense amount of pain.

Jeff has the RIGHT attitude. Unfortunately he didnt have the skills nor a jab to ever beat Joe in a month of sundays and now guys are ready to **** on him because of that and give kudos to a guy like Froch? Lets analyise this objectively. Who exactly has Froch beat? Froch is equally as fundamentally flawed as Lacy. Froch has done nothing except work his way into a mandatory -that he is deserving of- but the facts remain his NOT a draw. Lacy on the other hand IS. His a recognisable name that could make Lacy and Taylor ALOT of money.

Either way its immaterial as Lacy has a bout against Epifiano Mendoza later this month. He`s the same guy that derailed Tokunbo Olajide about 6 years ago. His also a bonafide puncher. You best believe Lacy has his work cut out in this one.Should be a war.

 

Spot on. Too many people on this board are too quick to call certain boxers bum's without knowing or understanding the whole story. JT will fight and beat froch, then come home and if Lacy wins over mendoza then the two men can get together and make some real money.
