None really but you have to read between the lines.

This is a testament both to a) how jaded the whole seniors tour/social media crossovers into the pros circus atmosphere in boxing has made us and b) how little regarded the women's side of the sport is, that my first assumption upon seeing that pair of titular names was that it was Shane vs. Jermain in a battle of retired welter and middle champs of recent yesteryear.

Incidentally, wouldn't have been a bad one at certain points in the past (either during Taylor's initial MW reign, when he largely took on career 147/154lbers anyway...or during his comeback reign, when both were fairly shot. Now, though, it would just be a sick joke, a`la the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones farce.

Honestly, it seems more ludicrous to suggest Josh vs. Shane than Jermain vs. Shane, because at least the latter pair were the same rough era, if not ever quite in the same division at the same time (but near enough in size, naturally probably just one class apart...Bad Intentions being a perfectly snug fit at middle and small at 168, and SSM being a massive lightweight, fairly big welter, and IMO juuuuuuuust right at 154). TTT might end up climbing to welter but he is naturally two divisions smaller than Sugar, who did make the limit in 2016 after campaigning higher for a few years...but that was half a decade ago now.

It s easier to go on Exatlon for good money thsn train somewhat on short notice and fight Taylor.

 

Eddie signed Amanda to a three fight deal, gave her the first two fights with the Taylor fight agreed for the third. Amanda then wanted to renegotiate the deal she signed and wanted more money.

Hearn said she signed a contract which tied her into the fight. Serrano tried every move possible to avoid it including scheduling a reality show at the time of the fight announcement.

it was supposed to be Serrano be Taylor last summer but we got Persoon rematch instead.

Taylor has literally fought everyone she can so far, meanwhile Serrano has fought who over the last 3 years?

 

To be fair Amanda did KO a top 10 p4p fighter in her last fight in Bermudez.
