I see your points, but I stand by my scorecards and I had Taylor losing all 3 fights. 116-112 twice against BHOP and 116-112 against Winky.

I even had him losing 115-113 against Spinks. And I was praying for Spinks To be KO'ed.

    Praying:deal

I believe that HBO and Lou Dibella are fully capable of rigging decisions (they certainly aren't the only ones). This has been apart of boxing for many years, why would now be different??

If this were any other fighter ( HBO was seriously trying to push JT as the next legend) he would have lost all of those fights. And without all the hype, no one would have complained.

When he gets KTFO again, this will all be put in perspective.

If Taylor wins I hope he has the decency to give Pavlik a return rematch.

nope...Taylor gassed out because he was loading up on every powershot he thew, while Pavlik threw his power smooth and fluidly througout the fight...Taylor was using alot of energy to throw and you can see it even in the 1st rd...Pavlik throws relaxed power, nice and smooth...

I don't totally agree with that statement at all.

Taylor is and always has been an underachiever whose style and workrate are at times ugly as ****.

But at worst,..he fought Hopkins(who is a true middleweight), even over two fights

He actually won imo an ugly decision over Winky, who at worst is a big Jr. Middleweight.

He dealt with the undersized Ouma handily...even if it was ugly .

And he looked like utter **** against the smallish Spinks,..who has a tendency to make guys look like **** ala Jimmy Young.

I don't think that Hopkins could be evened up with a guy who was "ordinary":verysad

Undermotivated is a better more accurate assessment.

Exactly. One questionable verdict you could attribute to chance. THREE in a ROW - for a guy who HBO invested a LOT of money hyping - is VERY suspicious. The first Hopkins fight, imo, was the worst. Hopkins was the champ, and he did MORE than enough to win that fight. The boxing establishment had wanted to get rid of him for years because he was always challenging the status quo. HBO wanted to get their hype job a title. It doesn't take a genius to see what was going on there.:yep
