Where will you put him 'pound for pound'? I don't usually go mad about p4p listings but they're always good for a bit of banter..

The winner should be top 10 P4P, especially if its Josh.

Although it is noteworthy to unify all the belts in a division... This division is so weak it it simply does not amount to much at all. It is such a weak division there are not even 10 world class fighters to make a top 10 out of it.

This is a division in which Ohara Davies has been rated in the top 10. A division in which Victor Postol is still rated in the top 5 and he is 37 years old and has not had a notable victory in 6 years. I mean, Terry Flanagan is still in the top 10 here. And it actually gets worse, that is inside the top 10 as well.

This is very unfortunate because what more can the fighters at 140 do, other than unify all the belts? The division is possibly even weaker than it was when Terrence Crawford unified.

The fight that was no 1 & 2 in Josh Taylor Vs. Regis Progais was too close to call (although definitely not a robbery). If it happened in the States then Progais would have got the decision. It absolutely warrants a rematch and one should take place.

Regis Progais, Josh Taylor, Jose Carlos Ramirez and Jose Zepeda are the four names that mean anything here, and that is not saying much at all. Josh Taylor has the most talent and has shown he will take top fights and make something of it. Regis Progais seems to be cruising and not doing too much. Jose Ramirez probably should have 2 losses on his record, where he failed to shine at all and seems unbothered by boxing and mentally not in the game. Jose Zapeda is, well 31 years old and not done much at all.

Normally, I would say that it warrants a P4P stop but I really can't justify it here. However, if the winner goes to 147 and makes some noise (I expect Josh Taylor to do just this) then we are really talking.

The winner should be ranked whatever place makes them most likely to face Teofimo or Bud after becoming undisputed, preferably both.

Taylor vs Teofimo is the fight that I've been waiting for.

I think Taylor's resume is on par if not better than Crawford's at 140 and Crawford was top 10 p4p ranked. I think the winner of Taylor Ramirez definitely earns a place but as someone above has posted, the division isn't particularly strong at the moment. Big fan of Taylor but not sure he can hang with the welterweights yet. He may be top 5 but will have to see how he adjusts. I think I would prefer to see Ramirez vs Teofimo Lopez rather than Taylor - Lopez.

    Well absolutely top 10.

    Pushing top 5.

We're on the precipice of a number of undisputed champions, which is great to see.

    Taylor-Ramirez
    Castano-Charlo
    Canelo-Plant
    Joshua-Fury

All in (hopefully) the next 4-5 months.

If TTT beats Ramirez (which although he's my favourite is no certainty, Ramirez is a tough hombre!) then his resume is pretty sweet for a guy with only 18 fights, he'd go in my top 10 P4P but as a scot I'm probably bias.

I'd like to see him defend, especially if Lopez moves up.

I think moving up to 147 and taking on a Danny Garcia / Keith Thurman type would really cement it.

The one I want to see is Crawford, I think Taylor gives him hell, win/lose or draw, and ever since seeing Crawford beat a gunshy / broken-jawed shell of a Ricky Burns i've never really been 100% sold on his greatness (I was expected Burns to be stopped that night hearing how BAD and spiteful Crawford was).
