is a replacement coming in already at a disadvantage, having 0 points and 1 fight already taken off him ?

At least there is hope for Bute to jump in if Tayler does really quit. I doubt it though.

I think they should just treat the fight between Bute and Andrade as another Stage 1 match-up, except the loser doesn't advance in the tournament, but the winner retains the points for the victory, or KO.

It would make sense. There is no way in hell Bute will enter the tournament at a disadvantage. Especially with a huge fight with Pavlik on the horizon.

They could even do the same with Green and Miranda.

i cant see bute entering as he would have to catch up"so to speak" due to taylors loss.

and we like the fact of 3 yanks 3 euros so green would be ideal replacement.

winner of the tournament should then fight bute for his belt.

to be honest though the best possible and most exciting replacement would be calzaghe, imagine the hype from that.

Taylor shouldn't decide before the Ward-Kessler fight. If Ward wins, Taylor will get a free shot for the WBA-belt in his next fight............

That makes sense, because the article mentions that Taylor will decide within a week. Kessler would be a worse match-up for Taylor than Ward would be. But poooor Jermain...his last opponent is Kessler. But after a beating from Ward, why would he want to face Kessler?

Ariza can get him up another 16 pounds to be a small super middle...I'm only saying this because I keep failing at guessing Manny's potential. This way if it ever happens, I can come back and bump this thread and say "I was the only one who said he could do it."
