Hours after his KO Defeat to Brit Carl Froch Jermaine Taylor revealed he wants a rematch as soon as possible, Taylor 30 years old was knocked out by Froch in the 12th round with 16 seconds to go said "Carl is a good fighter he punches hard as hell and gave me a good fight but i got careless to be honest i thought i was about 3-4 points ahead in the last round and was looking to coast and no i didnt gas out like people are going to say i got careless he caught me and thats that" Taylor said a rematch would be different " I know i can hurt him and i know i can outbox him next time i wont let him of the hook"

    Bull****.

Taylor needs to stop being in denial and face up to the truth.

He has nothing to be ashamed of.. After all, he was leading on the cards but his stamina failed him.. A rematch is neccesssary in a fight like this and i hope he could make adjustments.. he needs to work on his stamina more than anything else..

Who the hell is gonna give him a rematch?
In fact why should Carl do it?
Taylor needs to get back to the drawing board and train seriously.

When I saw the thread title, I got a scary visual of Taylor doing a Miss Cleo informercial...

I don't see Taylor doing any better in a rematch, i certainly don'tsee Froch doing any worse. Credit to Taylor but i can't see it unless it's on Froch's terms this time.

Taylor would not be so careless in the rematch and knock Froch out cold.

JT would have Froch on the canvas convulsing like an infantile ******.

Would Froch agree? Di Bella would have to bust out a FAT ASS check to Froch I have no doubt for this to happen.

Meaning, Froch has many other options at his feet now. To re-match Taylor, it'd have to be WELL worth it.

It would have to happen in England and be on Froch's terms. I think Froch would dust him sooner and pressurize him from the off.

He didn't gas? Then why did he stop throwing punches in the second half of the fight? Why was he holding so much in the 11th, 12th rounds?

Froch said he could have stepped on the gas earlier but was unsure of his stamina.

Now he knows his stamina was okay he would just jump on Froch earlier in a rematch.

Froch's chin gets better as the fight goes on as well. Similar to Calzaghe and similar to Pavlik, so Taylor can forget about stopping him.

It's good that he wants to rematch Froch, but he did looked gassed, everyone saw it, though getting hit as often as he did may have led to some confusion on his part and as such he didn't realize he was gassed until he got dropped.

Either way, Taylor was class afterwards in the post-fight interview and is a warrior. He won my respect with his heart.

The only person Taylor needs to fight is his fatigue problem. Now that guy gets the best of him.

I think Taylor would do him in a re match, I don't think Froch should do it, and I doub't he will if there is no clause.

If there was a rematch Froch would win it more easily. I've got alot of respect for Taylor, he took the defeat really well and I hope he can get his career back on track.
