If Froch can't land a higher profile fight - a rematch with Taylor seems natural.

Someone in his camp needs to gently break the news to him that before anything else he needs to fix the stamina problem.

He didn't get lucky. Neither did Kelly Pavlik. Taylor has NO stamina. That is why he lost.

You have to have some very good conditioning to defeat fighters like Pav and Froch because they both can go a hard 12. Jermain is done at the top level because he still refuses to accept the issue that is at fault, which is his poor conditioning.

He couldn't even go after Cory Spinks for fear of gassing. Steward cursing him out several times between rounds didn't even light a fire under his ass.

I really like JT, but now he's just fighting to collect some paychecks and he knows it. The guy has a great heart and natural gifts. He just needs to be honest with himself and get that stamina issue in check. I so, so wish he would.

I for one would love to see the rematch!

Taylor is a class act and fought very, very well.

The rematch can help solidify froch as a superior boxer or redeem Taylor.

Unless you are talking about Pavlik kicking Froch's ass, those names should NEVER be used in the same sentence. Carl Froch is no Kelly Pavlik, and that is not even debatable.

The one thing that concerns me about JT's future more than anything else is that he lost to Carl the Clumsy. It wasn't Joe Calzaghe, Kessler, Bute, Pavlik, or Hopkins. It was Carl Who the **** Is Froch. When a guy with Taylor's background finds a way to lose to a Miranda level fighter like Froch, it's a pretty good indicator that he is done. If he continues fighting, I will continue to be a fan, but he lost to Carl Froch.:patsch

Does that mean luck only happens in the first 11 rounds? :huh

Normal people can see that Taylor didn't have to get into a slugging match. All he had to do was what he did for much of the fight...box. Froch got lucky.

I like you JT, but you shouldn't have been up by three or four points you should have been down by that margin. You have been the beneficiary of some bad decisions already. Froch needed the ko to get a fair decision. And now you have lost 3 of your last 4 fights and been knocked out twice. YOUR NOT THE MAN anymore!!! Froch calls the shots not you. Its back to ESPN main events until you build your credibilty back up for a title challenege.

Amazing! Even Calzaghe thought Froch lost the first 8 rounds.

Who do you say 'even Calzaghe' as if you expect that Calzaghe would have a more favourable outlook towards Froch than the average person?

Taylor deserves a re-match, simply because he was 14 seconds away from becoming a super middleweight champion.

However, would Taylor agree to far less money and take the re-match in Nottingham, UK and would Froch be interested in putting his belt back on the line, knowing he was so close to losing it when there will be bigger fights out there for him now??

Taylor looked the far better boxer and is the first fighter to have put Froch to the canvas.

I'd like to see a re-match but doubt it will happen to be honest.

if taylor wants a rematch he needs to take a ticket and get in line,as froch will have people wanting to fight him now and taylor is no longer his mandatory.
and i hope froch dont give him it for taking the **** saying"carl who"?????
i think froch would beat bute but get a hammering from kessler,so taylor may get a rematch without a title involved later on.

Even Calzaghe? You know they pretty much despite each other, right?

Calzaghe probably had Taylor 208 rounds to 1 up before the stoppage.
