Taylor saying hes amping training up for Pavlik

the thing is i didnt have to...its obvious that he has racist traits by that one post i read...1st off it came from left field and 2nd it didnt make any sense

so i knew he just wanted to showcase he disdain for black ppl

 

he did fight very nervous...i dont think taylor talked to get in pavlik's head he talked to get inside his own head for motivation...but being around manny and ozell for the first fight he let them talk pavlik down, which made him take him lightly a bit...but i think he knew in the back of his mind that pavlik was a beast

Taylor is an idiot using the word boy against a white guy so soon after Hopkins used it, cause obviously it'll offend people.

It doesn't offend me but neither don't someone saying he hopes Pavlik KO's Taylor's black ass. To me its the same.

 

No doubt. Let's be clear all this "boy" talk is a way black males try to racistly demean White men. Hopkins is doing it. Taylor is doing it. There is no mystery to any of this.

No question it is extra humiliating for black males to be beaten by White men in sports. Maybe it's related to a need they have to compensate for having ancestors who were actually OWNED by White people.

Taylor is trying to diminish what he fears. He needs to build up his confidence by reducing Pavlik to something less than what he is.

Pavlik gets confidence by seeing a challenge, expecting the best from his opponents and trying to rise to the occasion.

Pavlik is a champion and a man. Taylor is an ok guy but kinda stupid and a bit of a punk. Just a bit.

I bet if Taylor would have won last time he would've said it was the best training camp he ever, but since he lost he says he was under prepared.

I dont understand how people are calling taylor a punk for those comments. He would be a punk if he bowed down, like all of you pavlik fans want him to do, and talk unconfidently about the fight.

Im from the south, calling someone a boy is not considered a racist comment unless its coming from an old uncle tom like white guy refering to a black guy. Its just the way we talk. If pavlik was black, taylor would have used the same word in this instance, its just how we talk here.

Its like someone said on here before, no matter what, when you have black vs white, with the casual fans most of the time, the white people will side with the white fighter and the black people will side with the black fighter, thats just the way it is.

And Jetski is no doubt racist with those comments, but that doesnt make him all around bad guy, just a racist one.

 

read some of the guys old posts, he only likes white fighters and gives little hints that he hates blacks but when you call him on it he laughs it off or says its a joke.

Taylor was in the best shape of his life yet he pretends the only reason he lost was because Steward failed to condition him properly and Kelly's only credit is that he was in better condition.

That's a lie. And his "boy" comments are racial code meant to diminish Pavlik as a man and superior fighter based on Jermain's humiliation in the face of the black community because he got his ass handed to him by a White man.

I have no problem with racial insults, I don't mind Bernard mouthing off. I'm fine with trash talking, racial or otherwise. I just don't like it when people pretend not to know what's going on.

 

So do you have problems with Mexican fans of Mexican fighters, Puerto Rican fans of their fighters, black fans who identify with "a brother", English fans for going nuts over Hatton?

Since when is it some how taboo in boxing to identify with a fighter based on race, ethnicity or nationality?

I only have a problem with it if it results in cheating or bias that effects scoring and not giving credit where credit is due to any fighter based on his honest efforts.
