I actually agree with Mirandas prediction, if Taylor fights scared, backing up i can see a short nights work and another KO for Pavlik...You cannot go straight back against a big puncher like Kelly... I really feel people jumped on Pavliks nut abit though and tend to forget Taylor was giving Pavlik a bit of a boxing lesson in those middle stages so if Taylor doesnt "fight scared" i can see him winning.. Should be a great fight either way!

Fight will be at 166lbs, catchweight. Not sure who this favours, maybe both of them?

It depends on what you mean by "flash in the pan" I guess. In terms of holding on to their title, sure. Otherwise I wouldn't really include Douglas.

Wins over McCall, Berbick, Randy Cobb, Greg Page and a losing effort for the IBF title against Tony Tucker. The man was a bonafide contender for the title.

Manny Siaca doesn't belong in the same sentence as Douglas and Pavlik. Pavlik is over rated like f*ck for sure, but he is still a top fighter. He wouldn't beat Kessler or Calzaghe, in fact I think he would be thoroughly beaten. He will however be too busy for Jermain though, and will win either by late stoppage (my pick) or UD. Siaca was very very lucky to get his hands on a world title. Good solid contender IMO, thats all.

When I think of a flash in the pan, Carlos Maussa is the person who comes to mind. Probably the worst world champion I have ever seen.
