    Yeah he has the potential to be special if he can match his skills with a very clever boxing brain.

    We are all forgetting it is only his 15th professional fight.

    Exactly. Even if he loses the final he can still come again. How good will he be with another 8-10 fights under his belt ! You are right its one thing having the skills its another having the boxing IQ to make adjustments during the fight.

    Very true Moog. In the amateurs at the top level I always felt the best guys were just more switched on than Josh, not that they had more ability.

    His style from that southpaw stance is tricky for anybody to face, combined with his speed. It's always the 2nd punch which is dangerous from Taylor because his opponents don't see it coming. Usually the left cross after the hook or the right hook after his backhand.

    His right hook to the body against orthodox fighters is a quality weapon.

    I agree though his jab needs to be more authoritive.
