Hate that people blame fighters for quitting as if their not taking heavy punches. These are good shots going in. The body can only take so much before it calls it a day. His legs went a few times in the fight. No shame in it whatsoever. Od gave it a go...but came up short in the end. The abuse should be more for the guys that turn up to lose. Quit without givig it a go etc
Everyone is wise after the event , both Taylor and Davis are relative rookies so the general feeling was that this was a 50/50 fight ! It would be a little cruel to say Ohara wasn't at the races he did give it a go and his reputed punching power meant he had a chance however his lack of technical nouse basically allowed Taylor to hit him basically at will . Of course Matchroom will get Davis some winnable fights in an effort to get his career back on line but unless he gets some better technically ability he is not going to get pass domestic level
does anyone think O'HaRA bailed out? looked a but suspicious to me especially after his round 6 cut off prediction before fight
Well apparently O'Hara is quoted as saying "I didn't quit, I couldn't breathe". Personally I'm not having that, the way I saw it was OD was getting battered and had enough.
