And that Ralph is just about as sophisticated as an anlysis of this one need ever get. It does not take a brain surgeon to figure out Taylor is WAAAAAAY to fast for Froch.
I just got through watching both guys last fight back to back. It only reinforced my opinion that Taylor could get his first stoppage in a long time. He had Lacy hurt on several occasions. He took some good shots from Lacy. He doesn't hold his left hand down the way he used to. This from a guy coming back from a long layoff fighting a 'friend'. I don't see Froch hitting any harder than Lacy. He is perhaps a little faster and varied than Lacy, but if Pascal got Froch frustrated and winging, it will happen faster against Taylor. Taylor is going to hit Froch harder and more often than Pascal did. The only thing I see possibly beating Taylor in this fight is conditioning. I don't think Froch has the skill to make Taylor fight at a faster pace though. That is his only hope as I see it.
Whohas Froch fought that proves that he has a iron chin??? He has fought 22 bums, 1 old dude, and 1 hype job in his last fight, and didnt do all that well... Just to farther my point of the bull**** Iron chin myth...Froch last five opponents... Pascal 63% KO ratio Reid 58% Rybacki 50% Tatevosyan 41% Dodson 41% I would say that he has really faced some big hitters:roll:
YEa, and all those KO %'s from his previous opponents are against trash opponents too! haha Iron Chin? Lol, some of these terms get thrown around way too often...
Shutting out a shot Lacy is more impressive than anything Froch has done in his entire career at SMW. Hell, Lacy may be past it, but even his resume is better than Froch's. Froch only edged Pascal by a couple of rounds. To assume that Taylor can best Pascal's performance by more than a couple of rounds doesn't take a huge leap of faith. JT's handspeed is as quick or quicker than Pascal's, his defense is tighter, and his fundamentals are lightyears better.
