Who has Mosley stopped in the last 4 years (other than that last second KO of Mayorga)? If I told you two weeks ago, Mosley would knockout Margarito, you'd call me insane.
Was on Setanta News earlier that Sky has bought out any remaining contract and will do an April double header with Witter.
He almost stopped Lacy ... and Lacy had never been knocked out his whole career ... but there is always a first time for everything. Froch isn't anything special ... he not on a level of the elite ... Taylor has been there before ... he was an elitist and p4p guy. Taylor is used to the big stage ... Froch just won a title and has yet to defend it ... he's calling out contenders when he's the one that should be called out. He will get exposed for being a flawed fighter ... just because Taylor hasn't stopped anyone in 4 yrs doesn't mean it can't be done ... Froch will get knocked out ... he's too sloppy and he's not schooled enough. In this case Froch v Taylor ... I think amateur background does come into play ... it doesn't come into play at all times but when you look at some fights and check out their background ... Taylors ability to throw straight punches will show ... his effective body punching will show ... his combination punching will show ... his moving at angles will show. Froch holds his left hand down low past his waste ... he's just asking to take a flush right hand on the chin. And trust me no matter how solid your chin is ... you'll get knocked out with a flush punch ... and thats from anyone.
Well, you may think you cleverly avoided the question. But, you didn't. Show us Taylor will get less than $1.6 million and NOT have to travel to do it to back up you statements.
Your right i wouldn't of had Mosley to stop Margarito, but he's got a far better ko record than Taylor, and he stopped Fernando Vargas twice in 2006.
The good thing about this fight is that Jermain Taylor will probably end up doing a lot of us a big favour. Froch will get his payday, of course, toh, yeah, interesting styles match-up too. Taylor will look like a million dollars. It's a win-win situation.
Good post. The version of JT from Pavlik/Taylor II humiliates Froch over 12 rounds. Add a 10% improvement, and he stops him late.
You think Froch will KO Taylor? He might if Taylor performs the same way he did in the first fight against Pavlik. If Taylor performs the way he in the second fight, there is no doubt he will win. Froch is a good style match for Taylor. Froch isn't particularly fast, comes forward with his hands down and usually throws single punches. Although the fight is sure to go the distance, Taylor should have no problem at all.
I always said a good boxer beats Froch but Taylor is scarred and has dreadful stamina. I hope Taylor wins as Froch is a knobhead.
Palvik made a stupid mistake and Taylor took advantage. I am going to watch Froch/Pascal again. But, as I remember, Taylor won't need Froch to make the same kind of mistake. He holds his hands down just as Taylor does. He has nowhere near the speed to be able to do that. Taylor does not have to improve to take Froch out, but, like I said, I will watch his last fight again soon now that the fight is made. I've seen enough of Taylor. :yep
