So, did Froch finally accepted DiBella's offer of US$ 600k plus the UK Tv money or did DiBella increase the offer?

    I'm curious.

No real details. Indeed no real confirmation. So, we will have to wait and see.

That comment from Leon is from a few days ago, before this last ditch effort by Froch's camp to make the fight. At that time there was apparently only a verbal agreement for Taylor/Green, but nothing had been formally announced so in all probability the contracts hadn't been inked.

agree , even if i don't specialy like Froch , i always find this Stupid that the belt holder need to travel to defend his strap. I understand its all buisness but if i had a belt you well need to come and get it! Anyway if the fight happens Props to Froch to make it happens.but even then i see Taylor by close UD if the fight had hapenns in Uk i will have Froch by close UD!

Taylor has the drawing power. But only in the States. If Froch wants the purse, he has to come and get it. When they postponed the deadline a second time, I figured Froch really wanted this fight bad. Taylor didn't care that much. At least the guy responsible for the purse didn't.

Fantastic news if it's true. Froch to get his toughest test yet but to come through in style.

I really don't know how Froch built his record without more of a fan base in the UK. I'm not going to argue resume, etc.... I don't know and it is all speculation. But, lack of fan base given his record and age suggests a few things. Maybe just a bad management team? People tell me his fight with Pascal wasn't typical, but if he loses his discipline that easy, against Taylor he is in for a short night that will seem long.

Thats what gets me. This guy isn't even big in his own country but he talks so much!

  13. Yeh his resume is non too impressive but i think he is a late bloomer plus he started pretty late, But i can promise you one thing. he wont be getting KO'd.... The Pascal fight didn't really make him look good, he got dragged into a brawl he never needed to get into.

Although i think it's a close fight, but i think Froch has what it takes. Power... quick hands and good arsenal of punches.

Taylor will beat Froch convincingly and I'd say he does it with a little ease! IMO Froch is nothing short of being overrated!
